Ia bukan kehendak kita ,

tanpa diundang .

Easy Brownies .

Hai and hello readers . Yea , today I would like to answer the question from someone who ask me how to make a simple and delicious brownies . So , let me ask first . Who wouldn't love brownies ? Everyone I know loves brownies very much . Right ? Heee .

As for me , I'm a big fan of chocolate . Anything chocolate I love it . A classic brownies recipe would be perfect . I tried several brownies recipe before , lot's of the recipes use dark chocolate , but these one doesn't , it only use cocoa powder . So , it's perfect for a quick and easy baking . The original recipe use butter but I substitute with canola oil . The cooking oil makes the chocolate taste stronger . Always remember not to over bake !

I made 2 batch for this recipe . I have to put it in the oven several times . I baked this at night , as we know it is best to let brownies stay overnight before eating them . The first batch was over bake , oops ! The brownies came out to dry :'(

But fortunately , the second batch came out good . The first batch that over bake one I didn't throw it into the dustbin . It still good though , we finished it with an ice cream . Mmm , yumm . I save one tray of brownies for the shoot on my Instagram also my Blog , but unfortunately my sister and my cousins ate the ''model'' . So , I left with the over bake once again . I just want to let you know that if you don't over bake , you'll have that beautiful crack on top of the brownies , unlike mine in this photo . Haha .

But rest assure that the taste is delicious ! Considering it doesn't use any dark chocolate in it . I think I'm gonna look for another brownies receipes , I just love brownies ! Don't you ?

Brownies

Source : Original recipe .

Serves : 20

Ingredients :

400 g caster sugar ( I use 300 g )

225 g butter , melted ( I substitute with canola oil 200 ml )

60 g cocoa powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 eggs

225 g plain flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

60 g walnut halves ( I use 1 cup of milk chocolate chips )

Pre : 40 mins | Cook : 20 mins - 35 mins | Extra time : 5 mins

How to make ?

1. Mix all ingredients in the order given . ( Mix eggs and sugar until smooth . Mix dry ingredients )

2. Bake at 180 C / Gas mark 4 for 20 - 25 minutes in a rectangular 23x33cm greased baking tin .

3. Cool and slice into equal square portions .

Cuts the edges , but don't throw it away . You can use it for ice cream topping :)

Who are the real friends ?

Di dalam sebuah hadis riwayat Ibn Abbas yang direkodkan oleh Abi Dunya dalam kitab Awliya' ,

Rasulullah SAW bertanya kepada para sahabatnya :

" Mahukah aku khabarkan pada kamu siapakah sebaik baik orang di kalangan kamu ? "

" ( Dia adalah ) orang yang mengingatkan kamu kepada Allah bila kamu melihatnya . Yang dapat menambah amal kamu bila dia berbicara dan bila dia beramal , mengingatkan pula kamu kepada hari akhirat ."

Now , that is a real friend . Allah SWT creates us and of course He creates our family and friends too . So the closer you get to Allah , the closer you're to each other . A real friend is whom when you see them , it reminds you of our creator , Allah SWT . Not just the ones who do basically everything with you , cause that could be very subjective . We can have friends who bring us closer to Allah or the ones who distance ourselves from Him . Its our own choices .

For me , finding good people for you to be around with most of the time , will give you good vibes and environment cause there are four poisons of the heart , such as :

Unnecessary talking .
Unrestrained glances .
Too much food .
Keeping bad company .

See , how important for us to have good company because friends have the power to influence us in any possible way . It could be positive or negative influence . Everyone actually already know about this , I mean this is not something that is new for us . But ironically , still we often choose to mingle with people who lead us astray . For example , ~~who go to party~~ , ~~who do shisha~~ or things like that . I'm not saying that we can't be friends with people like that , but limit yourself . Rather , lets remind each other and do things that will please Allah together . You could be a reminder for them if you want and thats actually jihad when you're trying to advice them and lead them to goodness . Of course , spending time like going out for movies and etc sometimes doesn't hurt . Thats actually why we're told to mingle with pious people if we want to hijrah to be better person cause they will help you . Pious people do everything for the sake of Allah , they obey Allah and His rules . So it will eventually make things easy for you to change to be a better Muslim . InsyaAllah .

So , be grateful to Allah for sending you good company in your life and be thankful to those who always remind you of Allah , who help you to be better intentionally or unintentionally . Appreciates them and their good deeds toward you cause thats just one of Allah's way to show His love towards us .

I love those who remind me of Allah , who help me to think nicely , who spread love and knowledge . They speak to my heart . I personally want to thank everyone in my life , wether the ones who always stay or leave . Thanks , for every good things and vibes that all of you have given me . I may still be the old me without your supports , so thanks . May Allah bless each and every one of you .

Virtual hug .

A friend who doesn't help you excel in good deeds or at least remind you of Allah and be good isn't a friend that you need . I hope I will be among of your friends who always remind you of Allah , InsyaAllah . I love you guys for the sake of Allah . May Allah bless our friendship .

Fisah hanya mampu tersenyum . Faham sangat dah apa yang cuba dimaksudkan oleh Emi .

Nafisah : Tak habis lagi .. If and only if you promise not look back anymore aaa .
